Smart Molecules is a new launched academic Journal co-founded by Wiley and Dalian University of Technology. Smart Molecules is an interdisciplinary high-level academic journal positioned in the field of interdisciplinary research, aiming to report molecular systems that exhibit intelligent responses to environmental stimuli. It focuses on reporting significant progress in related fields such as chemistry, physics, materials, engineering, biology, medicine, life and health sciences, and will become an important platform for the combination of "intelligent engineering" and "molecular structure" in the interdisciplinary field, providing scientific solutions to global challenges.

The scope of Smart Molecules is intentionally broad to encompass the multidisciplinary research of chemistry, physics, materials, engineering, biology, medical, life and health science. The editorial team consists of outstanding experts from multiple countries and different fields around the world, who will strictly control the quality of published papers and jointly create a high-level international journal. There will be no publication fees for articles accepted from 2023 to 2025.
